La Hacienda is a 10,000 square foot farm with expansive views of Rincon Bay. In this private home there are five bedrooms for short or long term rental. The large communal kitchen and living/dining area has an ocean view.
The location is ideal for hiking on Cabo Samana, including the path to Playa Madame and Playa Fronton.
La Hacienda is three and half miles from
Las Galeras and the 30 minute walk is pleasant for reasonably fit mobile people. Public transportation (motorcycles) can be limited - especially after dark and if it rains.
There is secure parking if you have a vehicle.

Food produced on the farm is available for free to guests.
Charge per night per bedroom starts at USD 35 night, dorm beds are USD 14 / person (Exchange

Monthly rent is USD 300 (minimum two months) or USD 450 for 1 month.

Spending the
night at the beach |
You will
learn where the best beaches, caves and walking trails are. If you
want to camp overnight on the beach, go spear fishing, caving or
diving than you are likely to find someone to join the adventure.

Horses
are a big part of life at the Hacienda. Karin has beautiful, well
cared for horses and knows all the best trails. Karin may be able
to provide a horse on a long term hire basis to experienced horse
people.

the rooms have a generous amount of space. |
The Hacienda
operates on eco friendly principles.
The rooms
have windows on at least two sides to take advantage of the prevailing
winds. Fans are also available. Only energy efficient light bulbs
are used, rain water is collected and kitchen waste becomes food for the animals.
